**Plein Air Meetup** Updated 5/4 Friday

I'm having it on May 5th the first Saturday of the month at Brazos Bend State Park and I'm inviting anyone who likes to paint or draw to come out and have fun. It's free minus the $7 park entrance fee which is good for a day. Those of you who came out last year I know had a lot of fun and hope to see you there this year. The park offers a ton of scenery from open prairie, to lakes, to tons of trees and wildlife, and even a secret white water rapids I know of. The park opens at 7am and I hope it turns out to be a nice day with no rain. Directions to the Park are here we will meet at the big parking lot to the left after you pass the check in station. Here is a map where the parking lot is located.

Note:
I plan on setting up a Plein Air Juried Competition and Meetup sometime in the following months ahead. There will be prizes given out so it will be worth it. There might be more than one including locations in Galveston and Houston on different dates. I will have more up to date info later on and will talk about it at the Brazos Bend Plein Air meetup on May 5th including a sign up sheet for those interested. It will be lot's of fun guaranteed. You never know what is going to happen when you go out and paint plein air.
